Funds once donated do not reach the beneficiary immediately. The funds are held in a unique virtual account owned by Milaap. The beneficiary can request for transfer of the funds as and when there is a requirement for the funds. However, Milaap has to verify certain documents before funds are transferred to the beneficiary in order to prevent misuse of funds.
